IIH Awareness Month

Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension (IIH) is a rare neurological disorder that predominantly affects women who are in their child-bearing years. It can also occur in men, in those with normal body weight, and without fully meeting the Dandy criteria. 

September is dedicated to increasing attention to IIH to promote education, early diagnosis, proper intervention, and research for this condition. 

Raising awareness for IIH creates a community for those affected by this chronic illness. You are not alone, you have support from your friends, family, coworkers, and so many who have shared their story with us.
