Brief Overview.
For patients with rare bone diseases, a lack of understanding of the condition, difficulties and delays in diagnosis and underfunding and resourcing all leave the the needs of patients badly underserved. Although in recent years advances in genetic and molecular science and improving clinical education has resulted in better quality of life for patients, the fact remains that the vast majority of rare bone diseases do not have a cure. So; how do we tackle rare bone diseases?
This free to attend event will gather together clinical specialists, health policy experts and patient groups to discuss these issues and what needs to be done to build on this progress and continue to tackle rare bone disease.
