About the Event
World Breastfeeding Day, also known as World Breastfeeding Week (WBW), is observed annually from August 1 to 7. It is coordinated by the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) in partnership with WHO, UNICEF, and other health organizations. The campaign aims to raise awareness about the benefits of breastfeeding, advocate for supportive environments, and encourage policies that enable mothers to breastfeed successfully
